Smith & Sons Renovations & Extensions West Coast is now up and running! Smith & Sons West Coast is the third franchise this year to join the national network of Smith & Sons Renovation & Extension builders – a one-stop shop for renovating from design concepts to completion.

 

Andrew Walker, GM for Smith & Sons South Island states “We currently have 22 franchises throughout New Zealand and we’d like to grow that to 40 and make renovation easy for people, in all locations throughout New Zealand, with our unique renovation process – Design, Plan, Construct". 

 

Sam Hartwig, owner of Smith & Sons West Coast is a local “West Coaster” and is involved in the West Coast community as a senior volunteer fire fighter. Giving back to the local community is one of Smith & Sons core values. Sam has 14 years of experience in the building, construction and maintenance industries and is a Licensed Building Practitioner. Sam holds a National Certificate in Carpentry, National Certificate in Construction Trades Supervisory and Diploma in Facilities Management. Sam has experience in maintenance and renovations within food production plants and the completion of projects in isolated geographical areas.

 

Sam takes pride in any work he undertakes and is committed to using local contractors where possible, he has a strong focus on recycling and minimising waste. From kitchen and bathroom makeovers to adding a storey and complete home renovations, the team at Smith & Sons West Coast can guide you through the process from initial ideas and design, plans and building consents, to construction and delivery of your vision.
