A fresh palette and thoughtful layout changes have transformed this kitchen into a light, welcoming space. Our clients wanted to relocate the sink, increase storage above the benches and replace all appliances, while giving the kitchen a brighter, more contemporary feel.

Our Smith & Sons Manawatū team relocated the sink from the breakfast bar to beneath the window, freeing up a generous, uninterrupted benchtop for food preparation, casual dining and entertaining. Additional cabinetry above the benches makes better use of the available space, providing practical storage without compromising the kitchen’s airy feel.

Soft blue-grey cabinetry and crisp white benchtops are paired with warm timber-look finishes, bringing warmth and balance to the design. A finger-tile splashback adds subtle texture, while lighting beneath the timber-look shelf illuminates the work surface and highlights the tile detail. All-new appliances complete the transformation.

The result is a brighter, beautifully coordinated kitchen with more storage, clear bench space and a fresh new look, ready for everyday living.
