Both my wife and I can highly recommend Reon and his team at Smith & Sons Takapuna. While budget is always a consideration, of equal importance to us when workign with tradesmen, is that they "do what they say". And it was this aspect of the project that we were most pleased with. Reon co-ordinated our job and his team perfectly; we understood the costs, the time frame of the job and he communicated clearly and consistently with us throughout. There were no surprises. Not only did we have comfort in the job coming in on budget but we knew who was going to be on site and when; and if any issues did arise (like us wanting to change the plan slightly!) it was never a problem to get sorted.
