We used them to do the structural renovation work (removing walls, new ceiling, fixing floors, bathroom build) in our ancient 1890s rental. Things did not all go smoothly, as it turns out the house had been badly modified in the past, and we had to do more fixups, but Smith & Sons kept us in the loop and always had positive suggestions. They even ended up covering a lot of the unexpected work themselves. So we were pretty happy despite the challenges. It helps a lot that Paal, the CEO, is a very practical hands-on builder and always gives you pragmatic advice, not just a salesperson. We are using them again for a bathroom reno.
