Garage to Brilliant Studio Conversion – Ashburton

This project involved converting an old brick garage into a brilliant studio flat, out on a hill country farm in the Ashburton surrounds. The new flat features a kitchen and lounge, one bedroom and a bathroom, all achieved by making clever use of the limited space. The studio has all the modern conveniences you would wish for, with a dishwasher and a heat pump in the kitchen, a walk in shower and a micro laundry in the bathroom storage cupboard. The colour scheme is modern with either black, white or chrome fixtures, fittings and tiles throughout the kitchen and bathroom spaces. A new entranceway with pergola completes the project with double patio doors maximising the light from outside, and there is even a door for the cat!
