House Extension for Growing Family
With an expanding family, the homeowners came to our team wanting to extend their home. We were given a rough sketch of what the owners were wanting, and we ran them through the DPC (design, plan, construct) progress to achieve this.
The original house was 100m2 and was a built off-site home that was transported to the section. We completed a 47m2 extension off the northeast side of the building. The extension consisted of adding a 4th bedroom, new master bedroom with an ensuite and walk-in-wardrobe, extra storage, and rejigging of an existing bedroom to create an office space.
To match the existing exterior, the extension was cladded in james hardie smooth weatherboard and coloursteel endura roofing installed. All new double glazed joinery was fitted also.
Matching carpet was installed throughout by JB’s Flooring Xtra Pukekohe.
In the master suite, the ensuite was fully tiled using 2 different contrasting tiles from Tile Warehouse and adesso bathroom fittings from Mico.
The homeowners were thrilled with the end result. We had ticked off everything they had envisioned for the project.
