Garage Converted into Self-Contained Unit

The owners had recently purchased this home and wanted to increase the size of the studio. The existing garage already had a basic sleep out with a bathroom at one end. The team at Smith & Sons Franklin converted the double garage into a living area/lounge with a kitchenette and installed a ranch slider in place of the rolling doors. The team then created a secure storage shed on the side in place of the existing lean-too. The final touch was to install a shade sail for some protection from the elements. The studio accommodation allows for family and guests to stay in their own self-contained flat on the property
