Garage & Basement Rework: Office, Rumpus & Storage

The homeowners approached our team with the goal of transforming their existing garage and basement area into a functional office, a multi-purpose rumpus room, additional storage, while still retaining a usable garage space.

We achieved this by constructing two new internal walls, creating three well-defined rooms. Cavity sliders were framed and installed to allow each space to be closed off as needed. A new ceiling was formed using timber battens, with ceiling silencer pink batts installed for improved acoustic insulation. The ceilings and walls were then lined with plywood and finished with a fresh coat of paint.

Garage carpet was installed throughout, enhancing both comfort and usability. In one of the newly created rooms, double internal doors were added to form a dedicated storage area, complete with a new shelving system. All new aluminium joinery was also supplied and installed throughout the space.

The result is a versatile, functional space that perfectly meets the homeowners original vision.
