This farmhouse extension project near Invercargill involved knocking down around half of the existing home and then adding nearly 300m2. A huge amount of groundwork was also required for the new patios and driveways. The huge kitchen was custom built to match the owner's requirements and features a 5.2m island bar, a commercial grade range hood, and a Jetmaster open fire with a Central Otago Schist chimney. The laundry has many storage cupboards and adding to it's practicality is a polished concrete floor. The walk in pantry features shelving made from macrocarpa trees milled on the owner's farm.
