Entertainers Dream

This project showcases the transformation of a family home on the lagoon into a refined, lifestyle-focused environment.  Driven by a clear client vision and delivered through our structured Design–Plan–Construct (DPC) process.

Beginning with a detailed client wish list, the design phase focused on maximising connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, reflecting the clients’ desire to live with doors and windows fully open to their surroundings. This was achieved through expansive bi-fold joinery and a carefully considered layout that seamlessly integrates interior living areas with a large, elevated outdoor platform.

A key technical challenge was the construction of a tiled deck approximately two metres above ground level. To meet the client’s preference for a non-timber finish, a bespoke timber and steel structural system was developed to support the tiled surface, delivering both durability and architectural quality.

The result is a cohesive and highly functional outdoor living environment that enhances the way the clients use and experience their home, combining technical precision with thoughtful, client-led design.
